Before Your First Class
Your first night is easier than you think — here’s everything you actually need to know.
What to Wear
Comfortable clothes you can move in. Cowboy boots are welcome but never required — plenty of dancers are in sneakers.
On Your Feet
Clean sneakers, dance shoes, or smooth-soled boots all work well. Skip flip-flops, heavy work boots, and grippy high-traction soles — sticky shoes make turning hard.
When to Arrive
Give yourself about fifteen minutes before the lesson to park, settle in, and say hello.
How the Night Runs
The floor opens at 6:30 p.m. Mondays bring three lessons from 7–8:30 p.m., the third Friday has one lesson at 7 p.m., and the third Sunday is social dancing only — with song requests welcome every night.
The packing list: your shoes, a positive attitude, and yourself.
